Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups rice (preferably Sona masoori rice)
1 cup coconut
1 1/2 tsp salt (adjust according to taste)
5 cups water
oil to make dosas (coconut oil or any one you prefer)
Steps:
Wash and Soak the rice for about 4 to 5 hours.
Drain the water and save some for grinding. Transfer the rice to a blender
Grind smooth with the coconut with little water.
Add the salt to taste and add more water to make the batter a runny consistency.
Make the dosas. Pour the runny batter on to a hot griddle, drizzle some oil and cover it covered.
It takes about a minute or two to cook. Do not flip it to the other side.
Serve it folded with chutney/ pickle/ podi/ stew/ honey/ rawa - accompaniment of choice
Serve hot and enjoy!
